I work hard, in order to give voice to the voiceless. I work hard to bring stories of social injustice to light. Every single day, while walking down Calcutta amongst the people I photograph, I witness joy, sorrow, agony and ecstasy, hope and despair. There are days when I have wonderful experiences, and there are days when I have terrible experiences. But every one of them is an experience. All of them have molded me into the person I am. These experiences have helped me to photograph selflessly, without much material desires in mind.
